Best way to ship a car within the states?
Im in the process of buying a car from LA, but i live up in Washington, anyone had experience shippipng cars? I dont think it would be worth the gas and plane ticket and time to fly out there and drive it back :1

theyre out to make a profit, isn't any cheaper for them so it's going to cost more than doing it yourself
The guys towing your ---- are paying more for gas than you are diesel so expect well over a thousand for shipping. Anything you heard from a friend about so so a couple years agos pricing no longer applies at all.
ya cheaper just to fly down and buy it, especially if you know they guy will hold the car for a week or so. just because plane tickets wont be as much if you go in a couple days without booking a flight in advance. i live in washington too. and i have flown to pick up a car both in california and georgia. not only is it cheaper but its fun. i dont know i guess im not a lazy *** ------ and also a lot better to at least see/test drive the car before you buy it to. make sure you get the title all that bull ----. last thing you want is to get screwed by a guy not living in the same state.
I had a car shipped from Socal(Torrance) to Wisconsin but I got a mad discount through my wife's old job as they shipped it in one of their trailers and it still ran me seven bills. Alot better then when I called around and got like quotes for around 12-1500. Not to mention the majority of transport companies won't deal with cars that don't run so if you find a clean shell for cheap your kinda SOL.
depending how much you make in a day, it's more than likely cheaper to just fly down. my buddy recently flew up to washington with his parents to pick up a DA GSR and they drove back. Plus you could see the car in person and determine if it's really what it was advertised to be
