when was the last carbed honda car? 1981? dont think ive ever seen one other then bikes

 

i did once see a carburetor powered b18a1 in a crx. was rather intresting and the sounds was great. i still wanna see pics of this one lol.

 

the 1st gen preludes came with carbs

 

The USDM Civics and Preludes were carby until '87. Accords until '89.

 

88-89 Prelude S had duel carbs...

 

I had one in high school, those stupid carbs were way down on the back of the motor and were a pain to work on. With a cam it went okay, but not like a D and 10lbs.

 

i currently own and drive an 86 accord lxi with fuel injection. when i first caught wind of the car for 500 bucks, i thought cool, something i can beat around in over the winter so i can finally boost the hatch. didnt think about it being carb'd and i started to get terrified. then found out it was a lxi and was relieved.
