i have a chance to get one for my del sol, just the motor and the regular stuff thats on it. what do i need to drop it in? cant find any forums on it.

 

yes it will bolt into your delslo

 

You need the ecu (p2 and have to run some wires

 

so its a easy drop in? just need ecu. no motor mounts or shift linkage

its almost impossible to put a z6 engine into your car. many people have tried it with very little success. it is much easier to swap an sr20 engine in though, because your car is rear wheel drive, and so is the car that the sr20 engine comes from. your stock transmission and ecu should would with the sr20 engine, its pretty much a bolt in and go affair. good luck and let me know if you need any help-- i've done the swap a ton of times

 

x2 i just replaced the sr20 motor and used all my stock del sol mounts. however the hardest part was when i lost the bolt for the shift linkage

 

what the hell kinda of del sols are you messing with? even thinking of swaping a nissan motor in a honda is blasphemy in my eyes. i have never heard of a rear wheel drive del sol. thanks for trying to help though

There's one sitting at central tire for $300 ------- dollars. Scoop it up. You'll need to find your wire harness and p28 elsewhere. They dont have it. They tried to swap it into an accord and it didn't run.... Wonder why.....

Buy the ----. If it doesn't work or knocks like hell, lynn on rt9 will hook you up. We were supposed to go over there two ------- weeks ago anyway. He's got a junkyard full of ------- hondas......
