If that's a lot of work, wait until you change some oil. OMFG, ---- this car ---- it's too much work. :1

i understand that kind of.
this is the first time im rebuilding an engine but my rods are touching the crank girdle and everytime i rotate it wont clear it. if i notch the block will it clear the crank griddle? wouldnt it just be easier machine the bolt because the bolt doesnt clear the griddle i haven't checked the rotation of the rods in the cylinder yet. but now i see have to notch the cylinder wall as well.
flame away i dont care i just want to learn .
so hate cause thats what this ---- is made for. :1

EDIT!

there is an easier way
use sticky sand paper on the bolt and just crank the engine over

***** do not crank for over 15 seconds at a time. the wires and get hot and you can burn something out *****
