well, i've had a 1970 International 1100D (1/2ton by name but it's 3/4ton susp) since like august 2003. wound up having a trans cooler line pop on me, ---- theyre only 34 years old at the time, and torched the engine bay. always thought it was a sheared camgear or something cause firing order still gave it the same backfirey sorta popping. earlier today i pulled the engine ---- off the front, and found that under the timing cover, the cam was 2 teeth off, and the distributor was 135º off center (3 plugs worth) so i never was able to get it running. did get it running today, was dark, low fluid in trans, dirty oil, and no cooling system intact, i didnt leave it run long. going to find out why it was a little smokey underneath and ill get better vids. some pics and one old vid, here you nogs go
