Default '06 Scion Xa

I talked to a couple of Xa owners but they are telling me that i need to change my ecu over to echo brains in order to tune. ---- that noise, I was looking and i was thinking of going with either the AEM Ignition Controller F/IC-6 or Greddy E-Manage Ultimate ECU Unit. The Emanage Ultimate seems to be pretty good for overall tuning and pretty close to Uberdata that most guys are using for honda except its not free (should of bought a honda). Im just looking at my options if anyone has any feedback or expierence using these products let me know. Here are the links.

Thanks,
Buddy

Ok thats all i needed to hear. I know Mega Squirt will work on any application but ive never used it. That may be the way to go. The Echo ecu can be chipped but the problem is that the ABS system and i believe the ac system are tied into the stock XA computer and on the echo they are separetly controlled. So i would have to move over the other hardware as well. Thats what makes it a bitch. IF i do use MS are there any problems I will run into or is that system pretty user friendly and easy to set up?

they seem to be the only ones that will adjust the maps on the chip and i will have to go to a UNA dealer to get them to do that. im looking for something i can plug into my laptop and fine tune on the fly without having to drive a long *** way and pay to get the map changed

SMT6 or SMT7 depending on the features you need they make the best piggybacks. Beware... Very few people tread into the areas of perfect power piggybacks and any for of Toyotas, and being the only one ever on my particular engine, I can tell you it can be a VERY long and hard process if you run into alot of unknowns.
Once it works there's nothing better than the best stand-alones.
