From the first pic with the standard front door and then one of a center entry I can't tell if I'm looking at the same house. I prefer center entry. It's got a good open floor plan, with white trim, which is a simple add wall color and you're done.

I would suggest a splash guard behind the stove though. Curry grease will need to be oil primed before it can be covered.
