Default My on going turbo gsr project

History of the car:
I bought this gsr a few months ago in SAD SAD shape. The front end was all busted up from the previous owner putting it into a ditch. There were problems all over the car, as the owner did not give a ---- about the car. It had a greddy turbo kit on it for some time and a few minor mods, I got the car minus the turbo it in N/A form. I started piecing together a turbo kit, and slowly am taking on years disregard for the car. I have spent countless hours already on this car and I plan on spending many more.

So far I have done-
New front end from a 94-97 (fenders, bumper, head lamps)
Got most of the car painted with the exception of front bumper, roof and hatch
Driver side lower control arm
All new brakes
Newer transmission (lost 3rd in the old one)
Innovative motor mounts
Avid racing lower torque mounts
New wheels/tires
Swaped the dc sports cat back for a straight 2.5" pipe
Turbo kit (pieced together and built by myself and some help from some close freinds)
Tore the interior out and cleaned it to try to get rid of the nasty dog sent/dog hair all over the place

Future plans-
Retune on 550cc by xenocron
Ls/vtec or b20/vtec (motor is burning some good oil)
Type r lsd transmission
Some sort of aftermarket wheels

Now for the pics-
Before......

After...

No but I did fab all of the charge pipes, downpipe, exhaust and a few other pieces on the turbo kit (along with some serious help from I have a std). There are other build thread in here, so I figured this would be okay. If not please move it to the section of best fit.

As for the tan interior, I dont mind it at all and just recently parted out a gsr with a black interior I could have kept formyself.

It had stress cracks everywhere on it, the paint sucked and it had a large gash by the head light....the 94-97 front ends grew on me and I went with it.

Nice work. Looks like a different car.

If the car still smells inside try getting it ionized. An ionizer will take out ANY smell from a car.

Your setup looks pretty familiar. Manifold/WG/dumptube. How do you like the 1g DSM bov? Right now I have the TurboXS RFL (RFAnnoying) because i got it for cheap...I'm looking to change to a 1g.

If Chris tunes that car you will be really happy, plus great mpg.
