SO im trying to figure out how much I should advance my timing for my low compression. Here is the rundown, b18a1 stock hg, wiesco -12cc dish puts me at about 8.1/8.2 to 1. Now with the lower compression I know I need to advance my timing in turbo edit, but I have no idea how much to bump it. Im not running my turbo yet, im gona throw my 750cc injectors and tune the whole thing n/a and once thats done start street tuning with the turbo on.

 

just run stock timing the car is going to run slow to begin with.

 

With good gas and low compression, probably a lot more than you'll feel safe running.

 

+3 deg or bust threw out all tables

 

---- it I added 5+ from 2000rpms all the way to 7400rpms. no det yet, 92 octane and its doing fine.

 

Look at the timing in the OBD1 maps too.

LS will run good on donkey **** gas, crank the timing NA and then crank the boooooost.

 

I looked at the obd1 maps and did a little moding to compute it into turbo edit maps. Im gona throw it in tonight after I get off work. It added about 7+ or so more than the stock timing. e will se how it dose.
