okk new problem. got the car started!!!! but then when i cut it off it wont restart. so for the past 2 dats ive ben trying to figure out y it wont start. ive

checked all fuses and wires. then my friend says lets reburn u another chip but a completly different map. so we burn a d16 map. put it in hte car and it starts

first try. drive around hte block real quik and its still got a checksum but atleast its running rite?!!!?? WRONG as soon as if iis cut off wont crank again. so i

got burn another map. now it acts like it wants to crank but doesnt. wtf huh wtf. any ideas anyone


also i need a obd2a to obd1 conversion harness for the low low.lol. new used i dont care.

 

what year is the swap and what do the plugs look like,how many wires are on the plugs?

 

its a ---- i dotn know wat year motor it is but i have already done the obd2a to obd1 distributor harness wiring ----.

out of the 8 plugs 7 have 2 wires. i has one wire. it goes like so

red yellow/ green black

green black/ yellow

black with silver dots(i guess thta wat u would call them)/ green

green yellow<---one wire one

blue black/ black

yellow black/ blaack blue

green silver/ black silver

and the one one the bottom of tranny is green black/ green black

its seems that a few of them are prety mcuht the same looking plug.

its make me so ill lol

 

i cant find a wiring diagram online... but..... go to the local auto parts store and pick up a helms manual.. they have wiring diagrams in the back that will tell you what each one of those is.. it will help you all the time.. so get it.

well i checked the one i have dl'd on my laptop and it shows all the diagrams just no colors.


ok kinda got it figured out kinda. i gives the connectors color and how many wires. lol. so i guess ima just anrrow them now.lol.

also if someone just so happens to know where something else is please hit me up. it will make life much easier.lol

 

ok so after some eye strainin i got some plugs that im eye'in as the ones.

if anyone knows the color of these wires connected to these plugs please chime in.

also as a side note car used to be auto befor i got it and had a d16y8 in it so some of the plugs i dont think i will be using as in the vtec pressure switch and any of the auto ----. not sure if there the ones but hell its worth a try.

so i need colors on back up light switch

main shaft speed sensor

ect sensor

engine coolant temp switch

lock up control soleniod calve

knock sensor

iac valve

shift control

egr control solenoid valve

linear soleniod

evap purge control solenoid valve

iat sensor

power steering pressure switch

is the motor a b18a1 or b1? that will help alot i think the back up lights are green and yellow they or on the front of the tranny

 

b18a1 i think.. ---- i will check when i get home tonite.

the harness is a 96 ek coupe. its a dx model but i know or am sure that the harness has ben changed to at least an ex model harness cus it once had a gsr swap then a d16y8 so i dont know. i just wanna get rid of these extra plugs. now that i think about it i know the sensors taht are on the auto dont matter anymore. lol. ------ ---- im thinkin to damn hard.

 

i pretty sure that you going to have to extend some wires and change some plugs out, there is one on the back of the blck that just has 2 prongs sticking out thats you fanswitch if you got a b18a1, and obviously thats a 2 wire plug i for got to hook that one up for about 2 days on my swap.
