i got a call late yesterday from a friend saying there was a 90 Civic at the JY, he doesnt know ---- about Honda's it was sounding like it was an EX. first thing in the morning i was waiting for them to open, went out there an HOLY ---- ITS A EX! it was an automatic but thats cool i got a PS9 ECU......anyway im going to be putting on big brakes now, and it was only $60 (most places want that for one hub w/o rotor, if they even have them)....just thought i would share... :P

umm, the point is to have bigger calipers and rotors, no they wont work with the old ----... the EX brakes are the same size as the Integra 90-01, but have the correct steering kunckle for the Civic/CRX. i already have the brake calipers (they are the same off a shitload of cars, tegs, ludes, legends....)

btw the dizzy is for sale in the classifeds, im keeping the hubs and ECU...

well, that would be cool (like to sell it all as one, the brakes and all, with Hawk SP pads 9 months old :P ) but the guys on Honda-tech are telling me they wont fit under the 89 Si wheels

no, then 10.3 ex brakes only fit under 88 si wheels i hear.

can't hurt to pull a wheel off and slide them in w/ caliper attached.

u didnt get the calipers w/ those? (cuz i dont seem them!)

no i grabbed the calipers off a 88-89 Prelude Si a while ago (they are the same as the EX/teg)....i wounder where the ---- i put them anyway going to go all out and hit them with some paint (cast iron/gun metal in color) and order some Hawk HPS, then bring the rotors in to have them turned...

88 and 89 Si wheels ARE THE SAME! i am 95% sure they will have no problem fitting, Jeff showed me a pic of a GSR with the 88-89 Si wheels on it. thats really all the proof i need but tonight i will take off a rim and bolt it too a hub with the calipers mounted up anyway too make sure...
