Default HMT Flywheel resurfacing LMAO Check out this Pressure Plate!!

I'm replacing a clutch on my brother in law's Geo Storm this weekend and local machine shops are closed. Does anyone have any tips or what to use to do a flat rate resurface job? Thanks for any help.

I have friends that have resurfaces their own flywheels and succeeded but with my luck I refuse to try it. Does the flywheel have any burn or heat marks on it

Not sure yet. I'll know tomorrow when we tear into it.

If it doesn't have any heat marks on it, then you're probably good to go with just giving it a light scuff with some sandpaper.

When we took off the transmission, the casing of the throwout bearing was pushed through the pressure plate. I'd never seen this before... I couldn't believe how much the pp fingers were bent.
