Default subaru wrx brakes

I got offered a complete set of subaru wrx dual piston brake setup for $100.
wondering if I can use these calipers with stock civic 10.5" rotors, and hubs. the are in excellent condition.
the thing is that I want to upgrade my brakes to something better, but the only options I see big brakes all over, I don't want big brakes. I run 13" lenzo wheels for my 24.5" slicks, and 15" for my winter tire, and 16" daily. so I can't get big brakes.
any options out there for a drag racer?
will the subaru brakes work?

damn noobs, stick to bashing afc and fmu questions

anyway, find out the thickness of the wrx rotor and then the thickness of your civic rotor. if they are the same or really close it shouldnt be a problem with a simple caliper bracket. also, if they are close and you dont want to make a bracket then sell them to me for $100 and i will put them on my car. lol

Sounds like an awful lot of trouble to not change the size of the rotor. You will gain some surface area thru the bigger pads but wouldnt be a hell of alot cheaper/easier just to buy a GREAT set of pads for similar money and performance?

pads arent gonna help anything if its not clamping hard. I have the cross drill and slotted with axxis pads, not much of difference from stock.
I need something that clamps and do its job without going with some 12" rotors, I need to be able to run 13? rims

Other than more surface area, you also get multiple pistons which let's you modulate the preassure better. One big piston gives more of an on/off feel to the brakes where having 2 pistons with the same surface area let's you get closer to locking the wheels without acctually locking them

the subaru calipers have dual pistons, and looking at them side to side next to my stock caliper they looks like they will work, I barrowed one from my friend so tomarow I will test to see if it will bolt up, if it requires a bigger rotor it should not be more than 11". if it works I will post some pics.

My stock std brakes work amazingly well.

If the car is auto-x'd whats the point ?

Mine dont even seem to fade at all, I made about 5 or 6 pulls the other night with hard braking.

But they might look pretty damn cool.
