i removed the drain plug and it had the washers on it and intact!!!

i followed the leak and its a ------- CASE SEAM LEAK!!!

wtf?

ive never seen a tranny leak from the case lol.. but yeah this tranny was an obvious reseal it had gray ---- that looked like silicone all arround the seam.. and now its leaking!!! i will see if i can get it on a hoist and use some brake cleaner to clean it up and trace the exact spot..

grey ---- is called hondabond which is used to seal the cases together. Just throw more on top of the leak not that big of a deal

 

theres a crack on the case

ill get pictures of it.. in the front right down low... dripping bout a drop every second or so.. pretty fast pace..

draining the tranny as we speak.. tomorrow ill clean it off with some brake cleaner.. then idk.. either sand it down to clean it and use jb weld.. or take it down to the local exhaust shop... i dont remember seeing this crack before.. but then again the trans was always dirty as ----.. and i never did shine it up.. and theres that grey ---- all arround the crack.. i grabbed a wire brush and brushed the trans along the crack and that dripping got alot worse.. lawl..

so.. jb weld? weld? hondabond?

if i understand correctly there is little to no pressure in the tranny.. so if i clean it up good and jb weld it.. it should be a good pernament fix? or should i push it down the street to the exhaust shop and have them weld the crack?

crack travels from a bolt that holds the tranny together outwards.. (not the bolt that holds the trans to the engine) and idk.. this ------- sucks.. i dont think jb weld will stop the crack from ------ing so just idk.. exhaust shop weld ftmfw?

or take out the tranny and completly take it apart anid have the exhaust shop weld from inside and out

 

i guess i must have hit something... i dont even remmeber the last time i hit a pot hole

i got pulled over before cause a cop told me i was swerving i told him LOOK AT THE POT HOLE... IT WOULD HAVE ATE MY CAR.. lol
