Punk. You know this doesn't belong in general discussion.

Here's a tip for solving any problem:

1. Figure out what must be done to solve the problem. In this case use a press to force it out.

2. Decide on a similar action that can complete the task. In this case a hammer or other object that can foce it out like a press would.

C'mon...

Here's another example:

1. You want to hammer a nail, which usually requires a hammer.

2. The hammer is used to exert force and force the nail into the material.

3. Find another object that can do the same thing - a heavy metal object, a brick, your skull

It's simple problem-solving...

at work we have a tool (which might be available from otc or some other weird company), which has a series of steel plates, a threaded rod with a bold on it, and this weird cup thing. Basically you can press the bearing in and out while leaving the knuckle on the car, and using an impact gun to power it. Works like a charm if you know what you're doing. Also you are talking about a front bearing right? because rear bearings are totally different and pathetically easy. Oh you'll also need a torch if you're re-using the same hub.

use a press. don't mess around with something like that. i bought a honda with a broken wheel stud, and honda = retarded in their design that you have to press out the wheel bearing to get to the studs. you don't want to be driving and then have an accident because you didn't spend the 50 bucks to have it done right. there is being cheap, then there is being stupid

you don't have to press out the hub if you're good .... cut off wheel, air hammer, grinder, and impact gun. Use your imagination

Grind down enough where when you press out the stud it hits. Impact the stud into place. Done. Did it with my crx/civic no problems
