Installed my obx lsd in my s40 trans, it sure didnt go as smoothly as planned but it went in and out of the car in only about 5 hours so i consider that good, until i put the car into reverse.... Wont go, it kinda goes into reverse but just grinds the second i try to move... Well tommrow im gonna work on it again anyone got any ideas on what i should look for when i take it apart, or what i did wrong? Im sure i can figure it out i would just like a place to start, all the other gears work perfect just it wont go into reverse.

yeah you have the idler backward. i did the same thing, and i could just get it into reverse but it would pop out every time. sucks for you ...... at least youll be good at pullin your tranny

I"ve never made the mistake, but the first tranny I saw worked on, this happened.
