i know its a weak *** motor to be trying to put into a 4dr but it was free and iam just trying to get a cheap running daily driver. not looking for power at all. the cx motor was missinbg some sensors and stuff. so i used the stock dx intake. i had a few questions cuz i am runing into some coolant problems. first on the dx intake it has the small coolent hoes that comes out where the intake meats the head on the distrubitor side, that dident have any place to go so i tapped it off. second the trmpreture switch wasent working the car started running hot so i jumped the signal at the sensor so the fan runs all the time. but the car still seems to run hot. the top radiator hose is hot but the bottom one is cold so i am thinking maybe the thermostat is no good. so i am going to take it out and see how it runs. any suggestions

 

replace thermostat

 

find where that "hoes" goes.

 

i took out the thermostat and ran the car for 3 hours it dident over heat so i belive the thermostat to be the colprit. ill get a new one tomarrow. then i go back outside ill look on my z6 intake to see where that hose goes
