damn i just downloaded lingenfelter's new video of their supercharged z06 road racin. it spanked all the street cars cept a modded gt2 porsche. that porsche was really really fast.

there were some full race cars that beat it. but the z06 did beat a 600whp 911TT.

lots and lots of cool cars racin, vettes, vipers, lotus, ferrari, fords, nsxs, integras, rx7s, and other race only cars. sweeeet video. its 415megs though... worth the download

Well, if you wanna get into a pissing contest about displacement you better go look at the GM performance turbo ecotec 4 that puts out over 1000 hp. Guess a four can do what a six can .

 

You must live in a cave couse ever since 4 bangers broke into the 9s(Hondas) most hondas are putting 1000whp down.Kenny Tran,and Jojo callos are both putting 1 g down.Others are right behind with Garry Gardella putting down 980whp.Keep in mind thats wheel hp not crank.So now that there into the 8s its gonna get even crazier!

 

My point wasn't the make of the engine, it was the fact that it was four cylinder. And your right, Honda's have been doing it for a while. But as the GM engine proves, it doesn't matter what side of the pond you are from, talented engine builders can squeeze a lot of power from nearly any engine. I'm not trying to turn this into another import vs. domestic thread, hell, I own a crx. I just respect massive hp in it's many forms.
