so i was talking to a freind the other week and he told me about a build he wanted to do. goes a lil somthing like this.
b20 block from crv
b20 crank from 89 prelude with the rod journals turned down to fit b16 rods
with 11 to 1 pistons.

we talked about it for a while and he says it will yield a b21 and be fun. revs to about 6800 or so we figure.
if all worked out i would like to then see how far we can take it on n20.

also i think he said if we bored it .50 over it would be alot closer to 2.2

still havent figured out wat head we would use but i would be fine with the b20 head for a minute and maybe get a spare one to build.

i wanna build it to see if it holds together and if so maybe in hte future get a sleeved block and put some eagle rods and some rs machine pistons in and boost the ---- outta it.

feed back. my friend said that he saw a build like that somehwere but cant remember where. comments, flaming, anything?

yea na sux ***** but thats wat i gotta do for now and i havnt had a chance to play with n2o. last motor in the car was a piston rod turbo d runnin 18#'s on a turbonetics super 60. so yea the b20 is gonna be slow as ----.lol. but watever. its gonna be on a gsr tranny so it will feel beter than the d tranny but still slow. next year will be boost time

 

why not go with a ls crank get some shootpenind ls rods ls head or b20 head backyard turbo that mug best bet man you get some arp studs in them rods and with em shotpeened you can run low 300s high 200s on stock bottom end all day long with a decent tune i say thats your best bet imo

 

just curious but is that a fact. i have a b20 crx and it definatly does not suck. n/a or forced induction either or your comment doesnt make logical sense.
stay with b20 bottom end, if u already have the b20 head as well, just access some ls cams and replace the stock b20 cams. either way your going to love your motor. they are wonderful platforms, and anyone who tell u they suck obviously cant research.

why the ---- would you spend so much cash on a b20

 

thats a huge waste to be different.

if youy want a 2.2l why not just use an h22? if you dont turbo it then the tranny will hold together also and it will rev higher than your crazy *** b20
