Default want another car, thinking of a early 70's model BMW 2002

Found this on CL and wondered if its hard to do an auto to 5 speed swap on these things?

anyone work on these before?

Buy an oldass 4cyl M3... then sell my the motor and trans and put in an LS1.

Ummm...have you ever checked on the prices of the old M3's? They fetch a very pretty penny. Josh's 2002 gave you the vintage import itch? lol. I got the volvo back today and ordering new rotors and pads.

i dont want it to mod it heavily. just want an old classic. im tired of the 4 door.

i dont want one all pretty and shiny. i want it for me to work on. 750 for an automatic one isnt all that bad. Plus im sure i could get it for less.

Bro you never posted up the link for the CL ad. lol. You ever think of checking out like old Corolla's or Celica's? Cool vintage mini muscle car look but still an import and 4 cylinder loving. A 2002 would be **** but I think you just have a yearning for something completely different then from the fwd Honda route. Whatever you get will be cool.

A guy I know had a 2002 as his first car.. he says he misses it and wishes he never got rid of it. Go for it!

kain, you still haven't gotten to me about the 13b for my crx... I need some advice. If I were to buy a complete 93+ 13bTT off ebay for like $2k what do you think the odds are that it would need a rebuild before running?
