I've seen cave drawings that had more detail then those pics buk. lol. If it's bent then the shaft inside could be bent and locked in place. Causing the plastic gear that's on it to not turn and could just get chewwed up in the tranny and all those plastic peices be floating inside your tranny. Pull it out and see if it still spins freely. I wouldn't risk it and possibly damage the tranny. GSR trannies aren't exactly cheap.

well i just pulled it out and the plastic gear doesnt look like its missing any material

but it is chewed up badly.. not bitten off chewed up but like chewing pen chewed up

now using my uncontrollable knowledgabilities i ASSume that even if the speed sensor was bent by say a engine hoist chain.. since the plastic gear isnt THAT damaged i dont think that the plastic gear can have enough force to ---- up or bend anything inside the tranny

amirite or amirite :P

now lets talk about something else..

i have no oil in the engine and tranny and had removed the shift linkage while the tranny was still in gear.. i was too lazy to get under the car and put it in neutural.. so i had someone in the car holding the clutch down while i pushed the car.. does this mean engine wasnt rotating

lets say theoretically if a clutch were to be dropped while the car was being pushed could this cause any damage to the engine

WTF buck, you starting to sound like me in this post

but if you rotate the engine a little bit it should be fine even without any oil in the pan, the longer the oil has been out of the pan, the more oil has actually dried, or worked its way out of the bearings and what not.. so if you just emptied the pan, you should be ok....

I rotated my engine every week while it sat in the garage, over winter last year, and it is all good, as far as that issue is concerned..

and i did notice that i had my car running while on jack stands, lmao, and even in nutral that bitch was slowly spinin some tires...lmao

but with it in gear, and the clutch pressed they were moving a little bit as well, so it is possible it could rotate the engine, but highly unlikely unless if you" dropped the clutch."
