I have a XTD 6 puck clutch that only has 3,000 miles on it. I like the clutch but i would like a stronger pressure plate. Is it okay to get a different pressure plate and use it with this clutch? Or should I get a whole new clutch kit.

Yeah, that is generally fine. You'll have to give the next pressure plate a little time to wear-in, but I've done it already, and had no issues.

Good idea to get rid of the XTD PP, I've seen first-hand the carnage of one exploding and tearing up the trans it was inside.

 

pedal will be stiffer.
