The difference between th d16y7 and d16y8

I have a blown y7 in my car. can i use a y8 block in it?

if you don't know whats in a honda engine, or how they work, don't ------- touch it. that's precision clockwork under the valvecover

Do some research. Asking simple questions like this (these are very basic to Honda people) will only get you flamed. The answers can easily be found by searching.
