I bought a set of DSM 450 cmm black top injectors, but wires on the injector clips all different colours. Can someone tell me, (maybe it's a stupid question to you, but I don't wanna risk anything) are "the left and the right" wire that go from the stock civic injector plug the same as on DSM (right one from DSM injector plug goes to right one from stock, and left one from DSM injector plug to left one on stock wiring on civic)?
The pics ( stock 240 ccm ones in engine, and my DSM 450's in my hand) ....does red go to red and green to green?
The pictures are taken with injectors in same position (approx.).

 

hey tightass, by the looks of it you have a pre obd car, you can plug right into your dsm injectors with the stock plugs, no re wiring.

 

Injectors are basicly solenoid valves, and DC solenoid coils don't really care which side of the coil is + or -, unless it has some stupid diode in it. Best way to check is to use a continuity checker - stick one end on the engine block (ground), then check the injector clip's contacts. One will read 2-15 ohms, one will have no connection. Guess which is ground. Also, if it reads ~7-12 ohms, you probably have a resistor box in there.

 

I know around here im a total NOOB but what the ---- is a 450 ccm injector? I thought ccm made shitty bicycles? First post, might as well make an *** of myself somehow :P

 

I know what a dsm is, but how do i go DIAF?
