What are your opinions on this setup? I would only be doing this until i can a a6 or z6 head to put on it.

ok, cause i was looking into buying a built d16a6 shortblock(minus sleeves) for $700 since my d15b2 is burning oil. But its burning less now that I put in 20W50. Now that im thinking about it I can get a JDM ZC or D15B for the same price with a conversion harness.

Opinions on what I should do ?

The b2 head is essentially the a6 head, just with a slightly weaker cam. With mpfi on an b2 head/A6 block, its basicly an Si motor. Just make sure you get an 88-95 1.6L cam gear and A6 t-belt.

As long as the built A6 was done properly, I don't see why you wouldn't want to get it. As long as you visually confirm it has forged rods/pistons, it makes $700 a decent deal.
