Ok I finally got some pictures of the turbo up. It's pictured set-up for external, but I do have an internal gate set-up for it. It spins great and the shaft is tight as a nun's ----. Since I haven't personally ran it I have to say it's sold as is, but I can't see this turbo being bad. There are no broken bolts or anything like that. The bearing housing looks really clean inside too.

If you're local you can come see it before you buy it and I'll give you a discount too. These are getting harder to find so my price is $250 shipped/OBO. This one is oil and water cooled too which is badass. I have the coolant fittings for it if you need them. I'll trade for a large fmic, good name brand BOV, DSM T3 or T4 exhaust manifold or some 450cc< injectors. I'll trade up to a significantly larger turbo too and can add some cash on my end if need be. Is this new, rebuilt or just cleaned up?

 

I really don't know. I think it's just super low mileage and used because there's a tiny bit of oil residue in the bearing housing that would lead me to believe it's been run at some point. It's hard to tell because it's so damn spotless. It spins wonderful and has the same shaft play as a factory new turbo, and to me that's the most important aspect of a turbo. That's why I said it's sold as is in the ad. If I knew for a fact it was new or rebuilt I'd be charging more for it. Somebody may end up with a brand new or rebuilt turbo for the cost of a used turbo here, but I'd rather do that than make claims about something I don't know for sure. I'd definitely run it myself if I wasn't looking to run a full T4.
