just put a low budget hmt kit on my boys z6 crx (200 haha). its running a 14b at 8psi. everything works great no issue. but the bov is crushed and doesnt open to much. i read that when running low boost on a crushed bov some damage will happen to the turbo over time. does anyone know if it can be "uncrushed" thanks

 

fork out like 30 bucks and get a ching chong bov. or an uncrushed 1g i dont think you can uncrush it.

 

im trying to find a 1gen locally just not coming out so good

it's probably fine. Mine's crushed a littler and it opens fine just revving the throttle at idle.

 

A crushed 1g takes alot of vaccume to open up. Get a uncrushed one and you'll be fine.

ok, im just fuckign around, there is no such thing that i know of. just pick up another and sell that one. hopefully you can find one with the same flange so it will be easier to swap.
