question about wlabro fuel pumps

Default question about wlabro fuel pumps

I got 2 questions...whats the difference between Walbro 255lph pump and a walbro 255lph-hp pump..I have a (GSS342)..the second question is..on my last EG6 that I bought, the dude told me it had a walbro fuel pupme in it and that sucker was loud..i can hear it whinning while in idle...BUT on my new hatch I just bought, i installed a new walbro fuel pump (gss342) i fire up the car, let it idle and that sucker don't even make a sound.....wtf...? did i do something wrong..? any hlep would be great

Your question is What is the difference between 255liter/per hour and a 255liters/per hour? Well, it the "s" that is missing in the first expression!

You dumb frenchy the difference is the high pressure denoted by the hp not the 's' lol. Other than that I don't know what the pressure rating is on either. I have never noticed a walbro being louder other than when it primes just before startup.

The 255 LPH pumps are the same...EXCEPT the HP has a greater rated pressure at that flow... Therefore making more fuel available at the same rating. I have a dual Walbro setup and it works fine, ---- on stock fuel lines, well.... You alredy know what im getting out of the setup...

You have one intank pump and one inline right?

YEs, I actually have a 290 under my feet right before the filter... Think im going dual 255hps in tank though and - 10 feed for the bigger 4094 when that goes down....
