Default no seals???

well i got around to installing my dsm 390s and searched for the plastic seals that hold my injectors in the manifold only to find metal ones that look like they've been pressed in. WTF do i have take off my whole intake manifold to drill them out or what. D16y8 motor.

You grinded down the injectors? or the seals?

something isn't right at all with what you are saying. there are black rubber seals on the manifold side and smaller red or green seals on the top rail side. don't know what you are speaking of with metal seals. sounds like when you removed the injectors the seals stuck to them and you were looking at just the seat in the manifold. grinded your injectors...yikes!!!

ok once again, those green seals that are pictured in these forums are non existant in my car. i don't even have anything close to resembling them. i took off my stock injectors and the only seals i had were like o-rings and metal to metal contact between the injectors and the intake manifold. i was like WTF, i have **** rings for seals and my injecotrs don't fit. so i grinded down my injectors and they seem to fit fine. NO ----!
