Default Dutch F*ck finished his homemade turbo (yesterday..)

Don't know if I should post it here...it's not japanse craftmanship, but french trouble....
I've just finished turbocharging my Peugeot 106 GTI.
It's a 1.6 16v engine with nothing even close to Vtec or anything, just simple 16 valve engine..
After owning it for about 2 weeks, thoughts began to rise about putting a turbo on the thing...
Now, about 2 weeks later, and it's as good as finished.
The boost is currently set at 7 psi and it's quite a bit faster than before.
Now I'm going on holiday (to NY and Washington to be precise) and when I'm back I'll see how far I can up the boost..
Follow the link below and you'll find a bunch of pictures from the conversion.

Dutch homemade turbo

Awsome setup. Is that turbo a k03?? Also I'd look into a front mount. If you guys got saabs and stuff around there try to get the 93 viggen ic. Its a nice polished front mount and goes for like $200(us) from the factory.

Nice set up but that exhaust housing looks like it sits on the oil filter

It's not a K03, but a Garrett T2, pretty small, but worx fine up to 7000+ rpm.
Will see what it does if the boost goes up....

The exhaust is quite close to the oil filter, sadly I can't put it further away, otherwise my alternator gets fried....
It's about half an inch away from the filter, but I'm not so concerned about it getting to hot, there's oil flowing throught it, so it's getting some kind of cooling from the inside...or something... :P

This is my last post for a couple of weeks, going to the states tomorrow !!

You see this guy read the faq and used the search...no silly questions..2 posts and already a turboed car.
Now the next Dutch HMT meeting is gonna be a bit more crowded.

@ Semnos:

when is the next BBQ at Pieter's place gonna be?
Was a nice place for a mini meet last time...
This time I'll come in the 106 instead of the 205 track car..
