Default Vitara pistons and H-beam rod

Ok,
Before you start flaming, this is not the same stupid ------- you seen again and again and again. I know my compression ratio will be about 7.5-1 and I know what needs to be done to fix that. I know I'm not planning on making more HP than this set-up can handle. I found all of this my searching. My question is, do we not need to rebalance our rotating assys when we change pistons and go to bigger rods? I have seen several write-ups and post that say " throw in a set of Vitaras with some TT rods and you'll be fine". Maybe everyone is assumeing that everyone knows to rebalance the crank, cause Idon't see anyone saying it when these noobs (I'm a noob to turbos, not engines) ask the questions. I just want to be sure that either I'm wrong and the aftermarket rods and viteras weigh exactly the same as the stock stuff and don't need rebalanced, or that the noobs know there is one more somewhat costly step to take.

Thank you and flame on.

You'd be an idiot not to have everything rebalanced. Don't take most of those posts literally, or at the very least try to balance the rod/piston sets out so they're at least very close to the same weights...and then don't expect things to last too awfully long. :P
