Has anybody had experience with either rods? are scat same as or better than Eagle?

 

Pretty much all the H-beams come from the same ching chong meow factory, eagles have the better arp2000 rod bolts but I have never heard of anyone breaking the ones on the scats either.

 

I wasnt 100% pleased with my scat rods...the machine work on the small end bushings was a little sub-par imho (oil holes had little bits of metal half-stuck to them from when they were drilled)...not too bad but still something worth noting

 

Speaking with my machinist he seemed to indicate that scat rods are the best for the money

 

Thats what I have found also, and the scat's DO come with 3/8" ARP 2000's. maybe you have to ask for it but I did and I got them with mine. The scatt rods looked real good when I got em, but I wouldnt be afraid running TT rods either.

 

Go with the TUNER TOYS rods and support HMT sponsers. Then run the hell out of them.
