I currently have a bad t3 on my turbo Jeep project. I bought a t25 from a Turbo Sunbird from Ebay today. After a little research, it seems that the t25 has a smaller mounting flange than the T3. Is there any possibility that I could put the compressor and cartridge from the T25 into my T3 housing that is already mounted on my Jeep?

I used to have a Conquest with a Mitsubishi turbo, and I remember something about the exhaust wheel being the same size as other turbos. (12A stock vs. the 16G I put in the car.)

Dammit. I saw the picture of the flange and it looked like the same flange for a T3. I guess it is, but just smaller.

This is what I bought for $60.

 

 

Don't get discouraged; they make reducers if you still want to use that turbo.

I used a T25 on my T3 flange. All I had to do was drill some new studs and it worked.

I also found a guy on Ebay that sells a flange to adapt a t25 to a t3.
