my buddy offered to sell me his 88 Civic 4 door 5 spd for 500 $, and it needs a head, which he has.... now should a guy snag this puppy an turbo it, or let it go an get a rex instead ?

ps... what is there too do to these 4 doors ? cause im sick of 2 door civics with carbon fiber hoods rippin the street up with a CAI and a ghey muffler

Id say save up for a crx, its an alright price, but it looks like a box on wheels!! Plus there a lot heaver. Go for the crx! sometimes good things take time!

any thing you can do to a hatch or crx you can do to the 4dr only dif is its uglier and heaver but you could make a nice sleeper

 

There was a thread on Honda-Tech about this a while back. The guy posted some pics of a nasty *** 4 door Civic with shitty paint/primer, nasty unpainted falling off bumpers and everybody bagged on it for like 4 pages. It turned out to have a boosted B16 in it. It was still ugly as all hell, but at least it had some *****.

If it's only $500, I would get it. You could always sell it for that.

Normally, I would probably ask you where you found those two extra doors, but if you beat the crap out of me I wouldn't have much to say. IMO Do it if you want.

 

I think the four doors are badass and damned good looking cars. I'd take a four door over a hat because I think they're way better looking. Then again, I think the FX is good looking, too. So is my new All-Trac wagon...

there was a 4 door with a h22a + 50shot on ebay a while ago, that would be kinda fun but i think they are too ugly. you know how the chicks love 4 doors LOL.
