cheaper and faster to just T your gas line and backpurge. ive used i at the shop afew times and it works well... You pay out the *** for it, you have to get your alcohol and mix it. you have to clean it off afterwards. so that's more money in stainless wire wheels for a die grinder. more prep-time, more clean-up time...

my opinion, is that it some hose and s brass T save you money both ways you look at it. Time is money, and there's less cost involved in using it. my advice is avoid the shortcuts like that.
