I am building my d16a6 w/ .020 over JE pistons and eagle rods, I was looking into putting a cam in my head while it is apart and my 2 questions are what cam should i go with when plan on running 25 psi with a 60-1 .63 t3/t4 turbo. I know nothing about heads so if you need to know more i can tell you. Also do need to upgrade my springs and retainers?? I apreciate any help Thanks

call delta cam, tell them what your doing and let them pick a grind for you.

the more info you have on your C/R and displacement the better.

 

im rocking a Delta 272, which is what Delta recommends for turbo motors. i like it a lot

So would it be worth it to buy one and throw it in while it is being built or just stay stock? Is the gain worth it?? oh and the c/r should be around 8.5:1

 

I got another question that came up, my engine has the 8.5 : 1 je pistons and eagle rods and the deak has been shaved .005 and my head is going to be milled some and if i put a delta 272 will my pistons hit my valves i was told that u have too watch out for that when changing cams is this true with my engiine combo since i have a dish piston instead of dome?? btw i want to remind u im not the smartest when it comes to this. Call Bisi up tell him your setup and he will make a cam for your setup.
