INFO: Stock fuel Pressure!!
I've read a few times on here with people having problems w/ idle and 450cc. For those of you who have an adjustable FPR and have adjust for 38-40psi might be interested in something that i read yesterday!
I read that the fuel press should be 38-40 psi when the vac line is DISCONNECTED from the regulator. and should read 28psi when CONNECTED.
This would make sence since when idling (VAC) you want a lower pressure and while steppig on the gas you want a higher press (no vac, hence disconnected vac line).
any thoughts!?
UPDATE: I just read the fuel press testing in my service manual and it has been confirmed that the info is accurate!!

Mine won't go that low.

heh...set the pressure with the vac line off. BINGO! Should work like a charm ...stock is 38-42 at WOT which means if you disconect the vac line you'll be sorta simulating wot....so yeah...set your fuel pressure with the vac line off.

I think it's just the FPR. I always thought stock fuel pressure was about 38psi. My vac has always been good. I lost a bit when I installed my cam though. It went from about 22in. to about 20 at idle, but the idle is a bit rough.
