Default throttle plate sticking

how to prevent this from happening other than using a stock throttle body?

I am using a edelbrock 65mm throttle body, and constantly have 2 problems with it.
1. the plate stick close when mess with idle/stopper screw under the tb rotor.
2. the engine revs high around 2000 rpm after hard accelleration, have kick the pedal to calm it down.
I tried a lot of things including changing the cables.

start with 80 you can buy huge rolls of the stuff. I would also sand where the throttle body meets the plate its obvious to tight in there and just keep going till it feels smooth. It will take forever but thats good so you wont remove to much material

You will also want to seat the plate and slam it shut. If it still sticks hard continue to sand the throttle body/plate

I cant imagine its that bad
