vitara pistons with LS rods

isn't it true that if i want to use ls rods with vitaras i need to get the rods bushed from 21mm to 19mm?

yes, you also have to shave .022" off each side of the rod to fit it in the crank

would it be just worth the extra money to buy some TT rods and use those over the LS rods? This will be going on daily driven car at about 12-14 lbs

its not .022-it depends on the rods you have.... just took off .02 from each siide of the ls rod today on a lathe the hell with grindin 20 thou off....i like breathing

So how did you chuck the rod up on a lathe to do that?

Are you using coolant on the surface grinder?
