Default Just Finished T3 B18C1 SMOKING

Just finished up my Delsol B18c1 turbo project. I am running a T3 .48/.60 turbo at about 5psi. I used a copper oil feed and a huge oil return line and it is smoke when i come to a stop. My oil pressure gets up to about 61psi when i am on the gas. There is oil in the charge pipes from the turbo. The turbo is brand new and the question i had is can i just replace the oil seal going into the charge side? And if so where can i find one?
thanks for the help
steve

a reason may be the oil pressure is too high going to the turbo. this problem has been posted before where people have used the needle valve to lower the pressure. try it out.

if your turbo is new why would the seals be bad? What size drain do you have other than "big" What size is the feed line?

60psi is alot for a turbo.

to function at WOT a turbo only really needs about 10-20psi. and the seals are not meant to be hit with 60psi. some survive some dont. spend your money on a needle valve

1/8 to 1/8NPT Needle Valve = $5.99 at Ace True Hardware Stores.

use that on your line and run an oil gauge after it to see what PSI level it is at.

Just dont do what I did, I turned the pressure down too low and kill the turbo, no more boost until I get a replacent. I did not use a guage, now I cant drive higher than 5000rpm,air starvation.
