ive been reading about alternative fuels and green ---- for a paper i was doing and came across this, might be a repost but this is the telsa roadster 0-60 in under 4 seconds and 250 miles between charges, what do u guys think electricity is cheap as ---- but why did they make it so ------- ugly

 

They could've done worse. And I wouldn't mind an electric car at all

 

as long as theres gas to burn the electric car is going no where. and when it does take off, the price of electricity will sky rocket.

Except electricity you can personally control the cost of via solar, wind, and water power. The public can keep the electrical companies honest. The same cannot be said about gasoline.

I like electrical cars. I'd like to own one. The main problem comes when you run out of juice. It would be interesting to see hotels and various other people having outdoor electrical where you drop in $5 and get your car charged for an hour. Still doesn't really solve the problem of if I want to drive over 250 miles in one day. I'm sure efficiency will increase, but still even if they double the value to 500 miles that's still limiting. They'd also need to have a full charge be able to be done within a 5-10 hour range.

electric cars will cause more polution, because we can barely power everything else right now, if all cars went electric... we'd have to build a shitload more plants. and most of the countries power comes from coal
