like the title says will i need to tune my car on stock injectors and fuel pump? i was just asking because i wanted to do my set up one step at a time. if i need to tune my car i will just get the injectors and fuel pump. i think you dont have to because the air/fuel setups are not messed with and if i do have to tune it can you please explain why?

Save the tune until you are actually boosted. Otherwise, you are wasting your $

yes but the car is going to be turbo(b16). i am not going to keep it on stock injectors/fuel pump for very long. i just want to know if i will need to tune my b16 if i turbo it on stock injectors/fuel pump.

haha but for real, dont bother with a tune until your actually boosted. stock cars have very good stock maps, and no one here will tell you its ok to use stock injectors on anything more than about 3-4 pounds boost. tune should be the second to last part of the project, the last is to enjoy all your hard work paying off. big hint though, dont skip out on the good tuning stuff. its actually cheaper in the long run than buying other tuning stuff. use crome or uberdata or any of the other good free ones.

 

i am running a P2T ecu. so my car should run fin without a tune right?
