Default Help with my TPS

I have a 1998 1.4 Civic, large 70.2mm throttle body, induction kit etc etc. however my car has started losing power when travelling at constant speeds and then suddenly kicking back into life again. (very jerky and horrible)

I think I have found the problem is the TPS as if I take it out it doesnt have the problem.

Will I break my car if I take the TPS off completely?

Or can someone tell me how to adjust it correctly, please help./

According to my Haynes manual it is the tps that I unplugged on the opposite side of the throttle body to the throttle wire and plate.
The manual state unplugging it will cause the engine managment light to come on but will still run fine as the ecu will use a default value in its place.

haha, no, il leave all my sensors in, just the engine management light stays on copnstantly now after I played around with the TPS. but the car runs fine without any dips in power.

Hopefully it will be fine for long enough till I finish my D16Z6 rebuild
