98 civic ex swap
Ok the short of the story is my little bro is a dumb *** and blew his car up last night. I haven't looked at it yet, im heading up in a little while. he dosnt check his oil, and he said his oil light came on, and 2 seconds later the car seized up. He said oil was everywhere, so i am assuming the engine is done for now.
He needs a car for school, so i was wondering if there is any reason the d16 out of 95 ex wouldn't bolt in to the 98 ex. Its been in the garage for 1/2 a year, but it was running strong when i put it in there.
im asuming that i can just swap out the dizy, alternator, and depending on the sensors on the Intake manifold, i could just swap that to.
Im just trying to save my bro some money, cause that engine was just going to sit there till i move

yeah it should work. just reuse his im if possible (you didnt specify which motor he had so im taking it into consideration that it could be a different intake manifold) and his mounts, linkage, tranny, and all other miscellaneous stuff.
