Default intercooler hp specs

anyone know a table or calculater that will give cfm #s for ic cores per hp level?

i dont think there is any such thing becous there is alot of different core's that are the same size that flow more-less cfm then the other, just get a air-2-h20

already been down that road . but what a mean is what cfm are a minimum for a given hp level

I think precision has their cores rated on their site, by CFM vs volume. HTH.

Well, it takes about 450 cfm @ 70 degs F to make three hundred HP. But the question then remains, what pressure are you planning to run , and what core will have the least pressure drop across it? I personally can't find and calculators but there is a graph in the intercooling ssection of "the bible".

I have the chart right here in the garrett/spearco documentation.
it's true that chinese knock offs don't flow as much as genuine spearcos so you have to pick a larger one to compensate.

let me know your Ic size, I'll tell you it's HP rating.
or
let me know your desired HP, I'll tell you the sizes that can do it.
