i have a 91 crx dohc zc t3/t4 wallbro 255 and 12:1 fmu every time i turn on the ign the cel comes on but wont shut off and the ecu does not blinck and the fuel pump does not come on i have changed the main really 3 times and no luck any help would be great

 

Solid CEL = Bad ECU

 

most cel's that i'm aware of do not go off until the engine is running. but i'm not a honda ecu dabbler.

I assume he meant that he is trying to start the car when he's trying to start the car

 

it is not a bad ecu i just tried a new one and still soilid cel is there a main power sorce for the ecu and fuel pump and most cels go off before you start the car when the pump is done priming

 

CEL is the yellow one with an engine icon on it. First off does the thing crank and not want to start, or does it run and die. You're a little vague

 

FUSE try the starter solinoid alternator fuse and just check all the fuses. I poped that fuse one time did that exact same thing

 

it will crank no start
