There's been a Kawa ZX6R sitting in front of my houses for nearly a week now and my neighboor finally called the cops as it hasn't moved since. They just came and stuff a 72 hour notice or it gets towed. I mean the cops wrote the vin down and everything and you'd expect the owner to get notified after that. I know the thing is gonna get towed. I say finder's keepers losers weepers on this thing. I was parked in backwards so it wasn't like it just got dumped on the street.

 

Its yours. check out laws for abandoned vehicles. I'm pretty sure that as long as its sat for X amount of days you can go get a title for it.

 

in my law class it says it has to be on your property without you hiding it or denying it is not you, for 10 years (in canada)
they call it: acquisitive prescription

so search your state law about it... it might be less time or more but usually it's long

 

If it's in the road right of way, it's not on your property, even if it's in front of your house.

 

well move it onto your front law, chain it to a tree maybe (so no one else can take it), and once its there for x amount of days keep it

or

put it in your garage right now, order a new shell and swap everything over. clean title ftw

 

Free stuff owns. I got off the freeway and at the bottom of the exit ramp there was an AC compressor for a 94 Chevy sitting in the middle of the road. I guess it came from the pick and pull down the road about 5 minutes because it had a tag on it and has the red caps in the holes. I need to find out what this thing is worth and ebay it.

 

What year is it? I say take it.

 

So whats all this apply to? I know of a van thats been sitting in the walmart parking lot for atleast a month, it'd be atleast worth it to scrap :P

 

------- ----!!! Went to Hooters and Walmart to get Guitar Hero 3 and when I came back it was gone. "WHY...WHY God must you do this to me? Is a free streetbike too much to ask?" It was too good to be true. Maybe my neighboor who called pulled it into his garage next to his bike just to keep it company. lol. Thing had a Yoshimura exhaust and some carbon fiber ---- on it. I guess it was either Guitar Hero and some wings or a ZX6R. Damn you Hooters and Wallyworld!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!! I did get a picture of it though right before I left.
