can somebody draw the fine line between rice and nice i hate body kits big wings clear tails and painted interiors plus body graphics all my friends are into that ---- who the ---- puts a wing on a 3door civic i will always be hatin

I like rice... I just ordered a 3 foot wing for my civic.

 

Ill say Im not fond of big mouth body kits but there are kits I do like such as the wings west kits rs kits there nothing agressive looking but personally I like the look a bit better than stock

 

a little rice can improve a rides look but there is a thing called overkill to muck can make u look lake a retart with a big wallet

It depends on what it is, if it actually improves a quality of the car then I think it's not rice. ie mugen spoiler vs giant aluminium wing.

Most outrageous body kits and wings, oversized wheels and over elabourate decals is a 'look at me' statement. I hate it.

But a NICE clean looking car that has aftermarket parts that serve purpose with a nice interior, and a nice stereo; I like that. It shows that the owner has more ambition then just to get attention.

Most of the cars at shows are far to outrageous for me to appreciate. You see one every 50 or so that has some real character, one you can appreciate.

As for me I like the stock look of my del sol, it lowered (1.5"). But only for better handling. I still run the stock alloys but I have some lightweight 17 with kickass F1's. The interior is in the process of being redone, I want something that more resembles myself, not just anyone. Plus the stereo is beyond amazing.

 

wheels are not rice small wings are not rice lowering is not rice i guess it is my domestic background showing because my honda is just my daily driver and i gave up my olds that went 14s for a 17 second civic that is too slow for me so i built a hmt kit and i plan to go 13s and get into road racing because i already have a drag car that goes 11s

 

Is it just me or can too much JDM also be rice.40 bucks for a sticker in Japaneese that is suposed to spec the ABS on an EG civic,squash smelling bobaly headed with foo man choo thingies on dash.And what the ---- is up with the Dragon Ball Z charactor on the hood or on the side of the car!Im into JDM motors but I think all that other ---- is ricey.

i am a HUGE Dragonball Z fan. however, i would never put that ---- on my car. there is a skyline here in vegas that one of the race shops own that has goku on the hood doing a kamehameha. it didn't do justice to dragonball or the skyline.

as far as i am concerned, anything that maintains the cars original look with low key improvements is nice. when you start putting stupid ---- like a double decker wing on the roof of a crx(made me wanna cry ), or unnecessary ---- so you can hardly tell what the car started its life as, then things start looking dumb. also, there is no need to have more than two colors on your car, decide on a color scheme that works without making your car look like you cant make up your mind what color you want it to be. actually, one color looks the cleanest.

 

Well can annyboady tell me what the fucken scoops on the roof do besides slow you the ---- down?Ive seen about 6 differebt idiots here with scoops on there roof of there car and one of them was a RUSTANG.WTF
