Any way to visually tell if the tranny is a 92-93 YS1 Or Y1 (large shaft) vs the 90-91 S1/A1 ?? the tag is ripped off the tranny and its installed in this guys car and he wants to buy a clutch I have, Not sure if it will fit.

s1/a1/y1 will have the same housing/spline.ys1 is the one that shares with with the hydro B




Y1 is the same shaft has the s1/a1 90-91 integra 1st gen b16a. It is easy to point out has it has a electric vss vs all other models had the old school mechanical hence why hooking up a jdm crx cluster is a little bit of work hell go check out your SIR in the driveway


a1/s1 will have a Power steering related hoses coming out of where the vss unit is at.



I have yet to see a ys1 with this. The ys1 casing varies has well.

Chris are you sure that the y1 shares the same shaft as the oldschool A1/j1/s1 etc? I thought both the Ys1 and Y1 used the larger shaft??

well ------- ---- ----, learn something new everyday. I have never owned a Y1, just a YS1. Just always assumed it was a large shaft.

On a side note, Papa Murphys stuff meat pizza isnt that great. However it is better as left overs.

 

funny that you say that I had papa murphy's for the first time in like 10+years 3 nights ago. I also seemed to enjoy my pizza has leftovers more. Well for like 7 bucks it does the trick
