Drupie FTW!
So Vee gets ahold of my cellphone yesterday and finds Mase in my contacts list.
The conversation included:
- I have $8500 to get tuned (mentioned at least ten times)
- I have an Evo
- I need to get tuned today, can you bump someone so I can do that?
- I'm coming Saturday and staying at your house so we can tune Sunday (main focus of the discussion)
- I have a burnt urethra (he clearly stated this at least twice)
- I'm bringing my son with me
- I can't stay at a hotel. I had a bad experience at a hotel once. I was robbed twice in the same day.
- I need to go to church Sunday before we tune, are there any churches where you live?
- My son and I are staying at your house Saturday, you are coming with us to church Sunday morning, then you are putting ITBs on my Evo for me before we tune.
It was a 9 minute five second call, and poor Mase didn't catch on until the last 20-30 seconds that he was being prank called. Eh, dropping $8500 in the first ten seconds of a conversation usually gives it away.

Mase as in Honda-Tech's tuning God that everyone sucks off. He regularly gets paid excessive amounts of cash to fly out to Iowa and random places to tune a bunch of cars in a day. He's good, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to do a lot of the ---- he does. I don't even think he builds motors, I think he just tunes them. Personally, I'd want my tuner to also be the builder to know what exactly is in there, how the clearances are, etc. That is if I were to pay to have something done which I'm not keen on.
